A Grammarly AI Humanizer alternative built for whole documents
Grammarly's AI Humanizer is a free tool from the best-known grammar assistant there is, and for a quick tone fix on a short passage it does the job. People search for a Grammarly AI Humanizer alternative when the passage is not short. A 6,000-word report, a thesis chapter with a reference list, twenty product descriptions that all need the same voice: those are document jobs, and a free box designed for a paragraph was never meant for them. Humanize 360 was built for long-form work first.
Upload the PDF or DOCX, up to 20 MB, and get the file back with headings, lists and paragraphs where they were. Run a batch on the Standard plan. Pick a mode and a strength, protect the terms that must not change, and read the Changes view before you download. Grammar is checked on the way out too, by our own grammar guard.
To be clear about the other direction: Grammarly remains the better grammar assistant. We are not trying to replace the extension that catches your typos. We are the humanizer to use when the job is a document.
What Grammarly does well
The grammar and clarity assistant is excellent and the brand is trusted. The humanizer is free and lives beside the editor, browser extension and AI detector, so short fixes are quick. Grammarly Premium is a paid subscription for the wider assistant; check their pricing page for current rates.
Where Humanize 360 is different
- Whole documents in and out: PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD up to 20 MB, structure kept, batch processing from the Standard plan.
- Eight modes, a Light to Heavy strength setting, protected words and custom style profiles for control over the result.
- Pay-as-you-go packs in naira, cedi, shilling, rand, pounds, euros and dollars with bank transfer, USSD, mobile money, cards and PayPal.
- Our grammar guard runs on every output, and the free grammar checker explains each fix with a UK/US toggle.
Long-form is a different problem
On a paragraph, a humanizer only has to vary a few sentences. On a document it has to keep the voice consistent across forty pages, leave every heading and citation alone, avoid repeating the same opener in every section, and not drift from Formal in chapter one to Casual in chapter five. That is why the mode, strength and style profile exist, and why the detector reports paragraph uniformity and structural sameness as separate signals.
What neither tool can promise
Grammarly has its own AI detector and so do we. Neither can promise what Turnitin or GPTZero will say. Detectors disagree with each other and retrain without notice. We show the eleven signals so you can see what is left.

Common questions
Should I stop using Grammarly?
No. Use Grammarly for grammar and clarity, and Humanize 360 when a document needs to read human from start to finish. The two do different jobs.
Does Humanize 360 check grammar?
Yes. A grammar guard runs on every humanized output, and the free grammar checker explains each fix with a UK or US English toggle. A free account includes 5,000 grammar-check words a month.
How large a file can I upload?
Up to 20 MB as PDF, DOCX, TXT or MD. Files are deleted from our servers after seven days.
Is there a browser extension?
Not yet. Document upload and download keeps most workflows intact without one.
